Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (“Teledyne”) is a publicly-traded company and is subject to rules administered by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Section 13(p) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 13p-1 under the Exchange Act (jointly referred to herein as the “Conflict Minerals Rule”) require reporting companies like Teledyne to make specialized disclosure and conduct related due diligence about certain minerals, known as “conflict minerals”, and their derivative metals contained in Teledyne’s products.
Teledyne has prepared a company statement on conflict minerals that is publicly-available on the Teledyne Technologies Internet website (www.teledyne.com) and via the following hyperlink: http://teledyne.com/documents/company_statement_on_conflic_minerals.pdf. A copy of this statement is attached.
The Conflict Minerals Rule requires Teledyne to use appropriate diligence to trace the minerals in its products back through its supply chains. For the past several months, Teledyne representatives have worked with the Teledyne business units to identify suppliers who may provide products containing conflict minerals. Suppliers were requested to complete a questionnaire so that Teledyne has sufficient information to answer its own customer inquiries and provide required information to the SEC.
Help for Heroes is the Teledyne Impulse-PDM chosen charity for 2013. There have been various activities at TI-PDM to support the charity, and for each completed customer feedback survey a £5 donation will be made on behalf of our customers.
We also support several local community organisations and charities, as follows:
The Alton Operatic and Dramatic Society - now in it's 90th year, AODS shows are directed by our QHSE Assistant, Alison. Teledyne Impulse-PDM have sponsored past productions such as The Love of Four Colonels, and we were delighted to be the main sponsor of their sell-out Spring show Ruddigore.
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice - the only adult hospice serving West Surrey and North East Hampshire. Teledyne Impulse-PDM is a member of the Corporate 100 Club.
