MS Dynamics AX Project Assistant

We have an urgent need for a Project Assistant who will provide IT and project administration support to the Project Leader of a Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP implementation process. Comprehensive training will be provided in the installation, configuration and use of Dynamics AX. Due to the nature of the position the job holder must be able to commit to the duration of the project, from planning phase to completion and beyond. The Dynamics AX go-live date is the start of April 2014.

On successful completion of the implimentation it is hoped that the Project Assistant role will evolve into a Systems Support function, with the job holder taking on responsibility for ongoing Dynamics AX maintenance, support and training within the company.

The position would ideally be suited to someone with a strong IT background looking to further their career by developing knowledge of a widely used ERP platform.

To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:

  • IT/Computer related HNC/HND/degree qualification
  • Strong MS Windows knowledge

The following skills and experience would be an advantage:

  • MCSE certification
  • Systems administration experience, particularly with ERP systems
  • Previous technical/help desk support or project support experience
  • An enthusiastic and committed personality
  • Ability to problem solve difficult technical issues and explain solutions clearly
  • Prepared to commit to the work at hand to meet deadlines

Graduate Engineer

TI-PDM are looking for a graduate design/materials engineer as part of an on-going program to improve product reliability of existing and new designs. This position will require involvement with Teledyne Scientific (USA), the global technology centre for Teledyne Oil & Gas.

The successful candidate would be involved with all aspects of production process control, material selection and life prediction. This would involve real time and accelerated testing of existing and future materials with a view to constantly improving the company’s capabilities and reliability of product. There will also be a significant participation in product and mould tool design.

We are looking for current graduates or those expecting to graduate in summer 2013 with the following skills:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of polymers and primers
  • Understanding of Mechanical engineering principles
  • Knowledge of underwater engineering and products would be useful
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling package such as Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good organisational and reporting skills

Technical Sales Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Coordinator into our expanding technical sales team.

The job holder will offer technical sales advice to customers both internally and external to the company. Specific responsibilities will include: dealing with initial enquiries and quotes, ensuring the smooth transition into production after contract award, acting as the interface between sales and production, coordinating how jobs will be set up and where necessary manufactured. Some customer account handling will also be required, specifically where the work has a technical or more complicated nature.
